Foster in Place...

Horses "On the Journey" or "Waiting for the Perfect Home"  at Trail of Hope Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation Center continue to need your financial and volunteer support.

Consider a Foster in Place commitment.  Every horse in our care is available for Foster in Place.

Foster in Place is similar to leasing a horse, but better!  We provide all the essentials and guidance you need, you provide the love, hands on care, and funding!  As the Foster Partner for a horse at Trail of Hope you would have the financial responsibility for the basic care (feed, shelter, supplements, farrier, routine vet).  We have set the monthly fee at $250 per horse.  Extra and emergency care and special needs are covered by the rescue.  Your fee is tax deductible as allowed by law.

Foster Partners receive a discount on adoption fee (based on length of commitment) and first right of refusal to adopt the horse in their care.  In addition, riding privileges (limited to prescriptive riding) and/or discount riding lessons are part of the Foster in Place program.  If the horse you choose to foster is not suitable for riding an alternative will be provided.
